Our Mission

Biggest Little Plant Pod exists to bring people together around the shared values of plant-based living, connection, and community. We create a welcoming, non-judgmental space where curiosity is encouraged, conversations are thoughtful, and everyone; whether brand new or long-time plant-based feels they belong. Through education, shared experiences, and community support, we highlight the many benefits of plant-based nutrition for personal health, collective wellbeing, and environmental sustainability. At our core, we believe this way of eating is not about perfection or labels, but about progress; supporting healthier people, a more compassionate food system, and a more resilient future for generations to come.

Juliette Arnold

The Pod was founded in 2018 by Kelly Hutchison Farrell and her daughter Emma to serve the Northern Nevada area around Reno.

I’m Juliette, and I’m grateful to help guide the Biggest Little Plant Pod community. My plant-based journey began in 2010 after reading The China Study, a moment that fundamentally changed how I think about food and health. What started as a personal shift in how I ate quickly expanded into a deeper awareness of our food system—its impact on human health, the environment, animals, and the way we farm our land. Choosing plants has been one of the most meaningful and sustainable decisions I’ve made, and it continues to shape how I live and connect with others.
