Special Presentation: Mother Earth Wardrobe

Sherry Lugone, Reno's capsule wardrobe guru, will be sharing her ideas and insider tips for decluttering your closet and creating a seasonal, sustainable wardrobe. Sherry's been presenting and teaching at Reno OLLI since 2019 and is excited to present her new curriculum, Mother Earth Wardrobe, which begins with the tenet that Mother Earth is sacred and her healing is our responsibility. She'll briefly outline the environmental and human rights abuses of the present global fast fashion industry and the steps that we can all take to transition to a more conscious, compassionate way of clothing ourselves. 

Pulling pieces from her own closet, Sherry will share an Autumn ten-item wardrobe of Mother Earth's Fibers: organic cotton, linen, silk, hemp, Tencel, and merino wool. She'll also discuss how having fewer items in your closet will encourage the evolution of your own personal style.
